One day the studio manager acording with orders from the company, decided to cut 3/4 of one level because deadlines, he told me that the level was not defined at all and the production time has expired.

In one night, I created this line sketch with the entire level, using the concepts from our amazing concept artist Cristian Peñas (now working in square-enix).

The next day I showed this design of the level, but finally, they decided to cut it.

I think that when deadlines are harming projects, something is not working. If you want to make good things, you can't be tightwad with times.

En un primer momento yo también me enfurecí con él. Pero en realidad él sólo intenta hacer del mejor modo posible el trabajo que le piden que haga los que tiene por encima. Con los años las culpas convergen en una misma dirección: el dinero, el poder que otorga y la adicción que causa. La salud o el arte, entre otras muchas cosas están en un nivel distinto al económico, no deberían mezclarse términos como estos con el del dinero y los sucios intereses que genera, bajo ningún concepto.
